Proper grinding goggles, USE 'EM!!!

I have done a search for Uvex googles on ebay and only found a few listed, none with clear lenses so is there an equivalent alternative?

Weird now I feel like a div. I searched and these did not come up but just did it again and bang....loads came up. Now I need to work out why some of more expensive than others especially as I wear specs. lol

Dont suppose you can find me any E680s welding helmets for 80 quid I cant find next??

I once got Asbestos in my eye, now that was great fun. Had to get my mum to take me to A&E and she spent the entire night telling everyone who my dad is (Hes a very well respected GP in the area who served his time at Wigan A&E) that then led to every man and his dog trying to find someone to get it out my eye, at 12am some poor chap was dragged from his bed to get it from eye, not a procedure I want to follow. But im sure I will.

At work we have to wear safety specs when we walk into a production area, be this a simple assembly line or where they charge cylinders to 300bar. at home I always think twice before doing any grinding etc.

Aldi had some cracking sealed goggles for a few £ recently. Looked like clear ski goggles.

I must admit I always wear goggles but I don't always wear gloves.

Strangely I've had a couple of flexi grinding discs break up recently and rap me across the hand and the other time grazed all along the inside of my wrist where the veins are, sort of thing where you grab your had and slowly look to see it is still there

They weren't even cheap discs, used dozens from boxes of 100 with no issues.

Hope your eye sorts itself out
