Old Faithful built by Tango from the north East fantastic off road awful on. Swapped it when it had two knackered axels for a high spec winch, SJ with a 1.0L engine but highly tuned screamer up to 40 MPH, 6" lift Janspeed 4 in two in to one, Got invited to a Landrover day but only the once as it performed so well. Sold it for a trip to Florida.
My vit built by me as a simple cheap green laner as I was missing the SJ, loads of fun for no money wish I had kept it, I think the whole lot stood me at £600, One MOT I couldn't afford to repair it and one of the local off road lads did it for free, still know some great people from the old days.
Slightly larger tyres as they came along cheap 2" spring lift, hard to and roof rack then just drove it

For me SJs were originally just donor cars for other projects but the more I got to know them the more they amazed me. They are a bit of a third world car but still love driving mine. I'm going to start restoring it this year whilst parts are still available

You could throw in a cupful of the normal indicator crystals. You only need a small percentage of the mix to tell you the state.
