A small threaded stud bar that will fit through those gaps but enough to clamp onto the vice when turned at an angle to the gaps and then have two of these underneath the table or even on top the vice and the studs under the table.

I wouldn't give two hoots about quick release vicing,nut&bolt job takes a couple of minutes.....some peeps are just plain lazy.

I don't know if you have realised but the op is asking to hold down his vice,I don't think those grips will hold down the vice?looks fine holding a piece of angle iron and such but a vice and whatever is being worked on in the vice.

I use them as well and they hold a vice easily
