Mma(stick) is welded with constant current. This means you set the current and that is what you get at the arc. (Remains constant ).I see, so amp= stick weld
Volts=mig weld +
Mig is constant voltage. Same again you set the voltage it remains constant. The current on mig is variable with wire speed /stickout.
Mma is a fully manual process because arc length can be changed by raising and lowering the electrode
Mig is a semi auto process. Arc length stays the same despite stickout differences.
