Ok gaz_moose thanks for the info much appreciatedi think i chucked all the old brake stuff away sorry.
the original axles are knott-avonride. but i got new axles from some place in south birmingham for about £250 each, it worked out cheaper to get them as trailer axles and mod them myself than to get them as just bare axles without the trailer brake stuff.
Ok mate cool, I was thinking the same…. CheersThat is not a trailer hub - looks like a Ford rear brake hub.
You could make something fit I am sure.
-----------------------------
I have had drums off this type of adjuster before where the adjuster has been slipping and someone has put a blob of weld on the moving bit to hold it where they wanted it. Not saying this is a good idea - but it does work (needs must!).
i ended up buying new axles as the rubber 'suspension' in mine were seized solid. then i removed the trailer brake backing plates and fitted ford fiesta ones as the shoes/ drums are the same size.
from what i remember i found out that these were some old british leyland/ old rover stuff so i might be worth asking on some of the forums/facebook pages for those cars.
fiesta/escort/rover 200 wheel cylinders fit the rohill backing plates, and with some grinding i got the ford shoes to work with the rohill backing plates and adjusters.
mine is wicked now, locks all 4 wheels on the handbrake.
i have some brand new drums spare that fit the rohill axles if you need some new drums too.

I’ve found the full brake kit for the Rohill set-up that’s fitson the rohill stuff the adjuster is at the bottom.
guess i was on the right track when i said they were rover/leyland stuff. i think they are 203m so 8" not 200mm.
the problem i had with the adjusters was that the knurled edges had worn off so they would just loose adjustment.
the knowledge that passes through this place amazes me
Hi mateDid you get sorted for these ? Ive just taken a pair off my old trailer . Maestro van rear axle . If you need them then you can have them for the postage.
