we have a Viking one, briggs petrol engine, pretty solid, no complaints.. not cheap, but 5 years on, no drama, cut grass, clean well, store, repeat.
mind you I do take the time to clean it really well every time I've used it, blast out with compressed air. Wet grass sitting, just rots them out. Convinced that the cleaning make the difference to the longevity, only 10 minutes more, but definitely worth it. Same way, always run the engine dry last cut of the year.. dry stored.
