Its is it take a tube to be held inplace in the adaptor which is fitted to the spindle so the end of the tube can be profiled / radiused with an angle grinder

How about a pair of pillow block bearings and a pulley ?

this was the quickest set up. i have a better one for later with a Collet chuck and pulley etc . the first idea was a pillar bearing set up but went this way first. its driving the tube with pillar bearings and less moving parts etc
pillar blocks are better than this as the tubes range in length from 70mm to 450mm reason a collet will be best maybe ? can make a troug collet if i can find a ER50 type and weld it to a backing plate with a through hole.
