Same here in most places. Most have switched anyway. It is hard to even find the old 60/40 acid core solder.

Spurred on by talk of compressor lines done in copper, i have plumbed in ours from the compressor, across the ceiling and put wall-mounted couplers along the bench. Copper pipe and yorkshire fittings seem to cope with 12 bar ok. Went round with the leak detection fluid, and had no leaks.
I put a temporary cap on one of the tails cos i was short of a coupler. After i had tested it i undid it while still full of air. jesus. 12 bar has some power. Soon cleaned all the dust out of the workshop!....

12 bar is great for making a blow dart gun, but i should have said that should i, cos in the news tommorrow there will be headlines, man shot up backside with blow dart gun. lol

Yuh, played along those lines.

If you empty 300L at 8bar or so, through 15mm pipe, you can freeze breeze blocks.....
