there is enough spare room around the fixing to secure some paxolin board to it with some small screws that you could then re fix it to the retainer!?
As for the soldering I would expose a bit of clean track and solder direct to that, the end that is all solder by RD202 if it goes to that I would be tempted to carefully solder directly to the leg of that!
If not using insulated cable then hot glue or even plastidip as that is insulating as well

If its working as it is I would be tempted to fit it back in place, put the mount screw in but stop short of doing it all the way up, then cover everything with a hot melt glue gun.

Won't be the strongest repair but will give you a chance of getting the glue off again cleanly if you need to get back in there again one day.

can you use solder to join im sure as soon as i put an iron to the solder it will a pool of molten metal and is solder not quite soft ?

I am talking about the repairing the circuit with a jumper wire(two) so the crack cant affect the circuit.

Yes was an idea to solder to the r202 if it is the route that the circuit goes as that would take away the problem of the loose track that's been soldered to

I've used the solid wire as that would take more current than the flexible cable (and it's what I did have here as well) but agree a good length of hot glue along the length of the exposed wire would at least seal it from unwanted shorts and exposure to air

There is no mounting screw at that point that secures the pcb to the mount when you screw on the cover it holds the plastic against the pcb that makes it stay in place but that's going to happen with the board that got a good crack in

But if this is looking more and more as the only thing I can possibly do as there is not much free space to add strength to to make it secure

Cut the track back to where it is firmly attached to the board, solder a flexible wire on, solder than wire to where the track goes.

Pcb repair on something like that really is as crude as the above.. No need to over think it.

Solid wire is also fine... Honestly, you've done a fine repair. Throw it back together and use it.

Those pictures help, no wonder it broke as there is very little board between the plastic tabs

If you want to make it more robust what about making something to fit over the case tab and project/support further out either side of the board

I would think it could be easily made on a 3d printer

but yes your right most of tonight ive been looking at that measuring to see how far the board actualy is held and im thinking not a lot or some thing broke over the years or worn thats made the gap big and when it was droped that was the end

thank you very much ill keep that in mind when ive sorted out what i need and want to do with fixing it

update at the moment im trying to find how far over that tab goes my measurements at the moment say its hardly touching it but might have a had a few beers when working it out so left it till i had a clear head to remeasure

depending on where i go with it if i need to get epoxy i might go that way but im near thinking hot glue gun as will cover it and seal and if i need to get off at any stage it can be picked off to do more repaires if needed

Update

I've looked in to this a bit more measuring etc and removed the links the board is shot there is about an 1cm around the point where the board is held in place that moves if pressure is put on it the links will be fine for a while but wont last long
Hence me finding some scrap pcb board in stuff I had

Taped off piece of pcb made epoxy and clamped over night

New wire installed this time I left the insulation on the wire for more protection
My then Idea was epoxy the wires etc down but decided on hot glue as if I had to do more repairs I could remove quite easy

This is how it looks now after measuring this is now just snug when the case is screwed up and all back together I've burned 4 rods as is and waiting for new dinse connetors to put on my old leads so this can be my go to when stick welding is needed
