got a mechine mart special and since i had it i have had problems ajusting the pressure to the tool im using
below are pics of the unit that i took apart looks like most of it is brass and the thread is gone half the way down the screw part
the plastic knob on the top the fins in side the cap are rounded off so even if the screw part is working if using the cap it will not turn the screw part
a few questions is it poss to get this up and running again just using a new threaded bolt ?
there any reason why not eg if using steel bolt is there a reason for the brass safety ?
and then grind the head of the bolt so the it fits in the red knob with a bit of playing around
or buy new what sort of price for new one probably it will be better quality or are they all most the same sont want to spend loads as its not used that much
