Does anyone know where I can buy genuine 3M filters for a 7502 half mask? Looks like all you can get on eBay are counterfeits, which probably do more harm than good...
I got a 7500 series 3M ( this type https://www.graff-city.com/safety-p...MI6Ojt5-jg3AIVApztCh3IBgKAEAYYBSABEgKbgfD_BwE ) and get the replacement filters which I assume are genuine from this seller https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Replacement-Particulate-Respirator-Filter-20-Pieces-P2-Painting-Repair-3M-06925/292353426104?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
I am really impressed with these masks, they are very supple and even fit ugly faces like mine. I have been spraying some 40` shipping containers with that ghastly synthetic barn paint this week and the paint has not made it past the pre filters.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm, mask is ok. But tell me more about the filters.
The link posted suggests they are P2. eBay picture on the link shows they are P1.
Do you know what they are? As I can’t tell.
The picture on the packet suggests they are pre filters.
With unclear information like that I wouldn’t trust them at all
I suppose ultimately we should all be wearing air fed masks but that 7500 series sure beats the scarf I was using

I've bought a GVS Elipse in the end, used it for the first time yesterday when sanding wooden floors. I think I've been using it for about 6 hours total and by the end of the day breathing became difficult, I guess that means the filters had become clogged. They looked still very clean from the outside, but I guess they were saturated with very fine dust, exactly what you wear a respirator for. I found it comfortable to use and I had no issues with my glasses (interference/ steaming up). Haven't tried is with a welding mask yet.
