Reverse Brake Bleeding for cars

I reverse bled my Renault clutch with a Gunsons ezeebleed on very low pressure and it worked a treat.

However, do remember to nearly empty the reservoir AND keep an eye on it. I knew this was what I was supposed to do, but in all the excitement, didn't.

Had to give everything a good wash with very soapy water.

Yeah apparently it's the most effective method to remove stubborn air bubbles.

Must say I had success with a vac bleeder bleeding the clutch on my Cummins conversion, pressure bleeder wouldn’t touch it.

I once had a problem bleeding an Audi clutch after having to disconnect the fluid line , couldn’t get any fluid through whatever method I used, pressure, vacuum, pumping the pedal or even all three at the same time , even reverse bleeding didn’t work . Eventually it turned out to be no fluid getting in to the master cylinder due to the outlet on the brake fluid reservoir being sealed, I cut off the end of the spigot where the feed hose for the clutch system fitted and bled it in seconds, maybe the car had been like it from new? or possibly the reservoir had been change and someone had fitted one designed for an automatic car?

alot of those reservoirs fit many cars in the range , the blanked off outlet is for cable clutch cars , must have had a replacement at one time i bet
