Mine you can turn the shell over with one finger. It is perfectly balanced with a totally stripped out shell, but it took a lot of messing around to get it like that.The chances of finding the true centre of gravity when mounted to a chassis or body are virtually nil, I have alway used wheel bearing/hub/handbrake assemblies both ends of a jig so it can be stopped in any position, saves fumbling with locating pins especially when you are on your own

mines very slightly floor heavy so will just try to right itself. was first attempt at it and can turn it over easily alone so left it like that.
made it out of old bed frames but does the job.....

It's just a series of holes that the green flange bearing bolts to.
Even though you can set the CG to within approximately 10mm, you can't adjust for one side of the tub being heavier than the other - which mine was, probably a combination of filler in the rear wing and extra metal work due to RH drive.

I had the same issue so landed bolting some weights onto the lighter side...
From my experience,the center of gravity is always further towards the roof than you would initially think
