I've been making my own on an experimental basis and it works extremely well.

I got my bag of crushed glass grit yesterday, it's a bit finer than the stuff I made but works a dream. I've knocked the pressure from 75 psi to 60 psi with obvious savings in electricity.

Next project has got to be a glass crusher.

My supply of glass (students) has just left Sheffield and there were hardly any booze bootles, all curry sauce!

That project is working its way to the top of my list of things to make and do.

I've cut a hole in the bottom of a propane bottle and use a ram to break glass bottles placed inside, but it's a lot of work for not much return.

The glass I bought is now just about worn out and is a bit too fine to use in the pot, but it's OK with a suction gun. Could have done with buying a coarser grade to start with.

how many times has it been used, have you ever used Garnet, the guy who blasts my stuff uses it and swears by it

I've lost count. Not tried garnet, my local supplier doesn't stock it so I never bothered.
