no, the nato ring wont take to it too well, i mentioned in that post and as someone else said, nato hitch for a nato ring, and plenty of grease too.^^ If you get one of those make sure it fits the NATO ring properly. I'll post a picture with measurements later.

Interesting. I know I need to raise the height of the hitch because of the height of a sankey trailer. I already have this.

Was thinking of using a 10/15mm plate to bolt to the top two rows on the tow bracket which extends up to level with the bumper to raise the height of the hitch. A NATO hitch usually fastens to the rear cross member on a defender but a disco doesnt have that feature.
