if I'm on a simple hob when they phone I keep them going for as long as possible.
Not sure I'd want to drive your tractors, sounds like it might be uncomfortable.
Still, at least you have somewhere to warm your dinner up .

I had a women flogging funeral plans recentlyThe longest I managed before terminal boredom set in was with a UK based operation trying to sell me a pre-paid Funeral Plan. That lastest about 20 minutes through to the second level of 'escalation' before I decided to concentrate on something and ended the call. That was 20 minutes less available to them to pursue the vulnerable. Just doing my bit for society.
God, I’m glad I’ve got one of those call blocker phones. Nobody you don’t want gets through, it’s brilliant
I have call filtering on the landline, so I get none of these calls there. I regard the mobile number as 'disposable' and where-ever possible I cite that one on-line. It is then very easy to select 'block' on a number if needed. A bit pointless as the scammers use some kind of spoofing software to display false numbers. They seem to be making more schoolboy errors these days such as displaying a mobile number then trying to sell me a new electricity tariff.
I'm getting fewer and fewer calls though and I rather miss the opportunity to mess with them.
As well as 'sucker lists' I wonder if 'don't waste your time' lists of numbers are circulating amongst the scammers?

Her “have you thought about funeral insurance”
Me “I haven’t thought of dying just yet thank you”

I told her the family was going to take me up the tip in a black plastic bag., she said “you can’t do that” my answer “doesn’t say that bodies are on the prohibited list”Her: "do you realise a funeral costs over £5000 these days"
Me: "not my problem, Ill be dead"
They usually give up

Another bloody racket, how can it cost 5k to dig a hole in the muck and put a body in it in a chipboard coffin ? Gangsters.
Fred West got done for itIn case anyone doesn't know, it's perfectly legal to be buried in your own back garden. Assuming that you've expired, obviously .

Inevitably, folk must be falling for their scams of they'd not continue. I also doubt the worth of reporting them, what can the Authorities in this country [apart from info sharing] do against operators in the sub continent or elsewhere? …………………………………....
Reminds me of one of my Dads old sayings. " If they don't bury you for love, they'll bury you for stink. "Her: "do you realise a funeral costs over £5000 these days"
Me: "not my problem, Ill be dead"

Wouldn't it be great if Governments put out a worldwide open contract bounty on scammers ?
