Blimey it does pulse too!? That's seriously impressive!
I've got a job for it already lol. That's gonna be a hell of a lot more compact than a handy tig to do handrails on stairwells.I’ve had some ball park pricing, it will
Be confirmed when I get to the show on Wednesday but I was pleasantly suprised at the RRP. It’s definately aimed at the premium price segment but it’s very competitive within the offerings of similar sized machines from the mid to high end manufacturers
I won’t be at the show until Wednesday but there is no harm now in sharing some pictures of a new Tig model that is being showcased at S&S.
These photos are from the product training I received a week ago and are not official marketing photos.
The MicorTig 200 DC, Full function 200 amp DC Tig, 115v-230v, Generator and will work on our Lithium-Ion rechargeable Battery, MobilePower1. It is the smallest, lightest and most compact within its class. As well as being able to withstand falls from 80cm the Machine is also CEL electrode capable. The model shown is the Flagship ControlPro front panel, but a simpler BasicPlus option is also available.
Tig performance off the battery is around 1 hour at a average current of 50 amps down to about 20 mins with a average current of around 120 amps. There’s a new backpack available which can carry one of the small bottles of Argon for complete Off grid welding and Tig welding in really inaccessible places.
An off shoot of this machine is also the MicorStick 180, which is also Auto 115v & 230v and will work with the Battery.
Are there any plans to do a portable MIG/MAG system powered by the MobilePower1?, I suspect we would buy a few sets.
Blimey. Does the T220 even do 5000Hz?
Those figures are incredible. 240V is the full 200 on stick?

We are hoping that a 240v /200A Tig machine will be brought out similar to the now obsolete Thermal Arc.DC only
Have you got any info you could post on the machine first.I’ll send you one to trial when they are in full production in the new year.
200 amps full function DC Tig, 115-230 flexi voltage and Battery compatible.
Less than 5kg, 3 yr warranty and can withstand falls from 80cm onto a concrete floor
