Simple booth with damp floor try & pump the heat in & keep a slight + pressure internally, don't forget to filter incoming air
Good simple advice there.
I have sprayed dozens of bike frames in 2K paint. I do not have a sandblaster, so have to sand everything by hand. This gives me an edge when working on Carbon frames. Also, most original paint is on there as good as any primer, so it is sometimes not worth bare-matal'ing the frame - just re-prime and paint after some prep.
It is impossible to compete on price with a large company with a sandblaster and powder coating set-up. But where you can compete is on overall finish and custom work.
2K paints give a beautiful finish, and will allow you to do all kinds of crazy patterns/blends/layers etc.
All my customers want a high-end finish on a show-bike. If somebody enquires about a simple colour change, I send them to the local powder coaters.
I charge from £190 to give you an idea on pricing. For that, it has to be a bloody flawless finish though.
After doing a few, you learn the technique and work out a sequence so there are no 'dry' patches.
Hope that helps a bit.
