as you have used steel internal you may find this may happen with the internals after a few months usage as quoted before your better off using stainless steel iners or as a deflector of heat
at 8.20 mins you will see what will happen with your steel inner tube
from the old rocket way which was a straight burn up the tube used alot of wood the new way is using a vortex inside the chamber also by introducing secondary air you are reigniting the gasses inside creating a much higher burn using less wood in the process
