Further to our PMs, I had my AUD shipped on a pallet from way down south for about £120 3 years ago. Main concern is how well the seller preps it for shipping - ask for pics and tell him what to do.
When I get sorted at the new place I could probably take delivery of it for you, if access is a problem at yours. No concrete but a decent hard gravel entrance and a JD 2650 with Quicke loader available (assuming it works ok)!

I drove to south of Manchester last Christmas for a newfoundland pup , up and down the same day home by 6 pm , I kinda know what's involved . I have the use of my works van anytime I want it and I kinda like a road trip every now and again . Trusting the sellers honesty is my problem.

That's as maybe ,as I've said ,I'm looking for boxford AUD size or slightly smaller . My son is now on the look out for a model making size lathe and I found this Sieg CJD 250. Don't know anything about them ,does anyone on here know .

At that price its worth an inspection for mechanical condition. Oil and dirt can hide much, and a pressure wash could reveal a jewel. I would love a Chipmaster in good condition. Convert it to VFD and get rid of the Variator and you'd have a very desirable machine.
