Shops in Aberdeen to buy welding PPE

To the OP, can I ask how long is your welding course and the cost? I looked at one reasonably close to me but I thought it was very expensive, although I have nothing for comparison.

It's the NESCOL course at the Fraserburgh facility, £240, 13 x 3h sessions, every Tuesday night or Thursday night, just a basic SQA cert at the end. Hoping to be able to patch up old cars by the end.

Wow! that looks good. The course I was looking at is at Gloucestershire College. 11 x 3h sessions, level 1 or level 2, both run together. First week looks at mig, tig and MMA, then you choose one for the remaining 10 sessions. Cost £900 which includes £260 materials cost!
