This is mine. After years odf looking for one which isn't daft money I was given this by a bloke in our workshop, result! Yet to do anything with it. Plan to make a base and give it a good clean with a knotted wire wheel

Been looking for a proper anvil, but even the junk ones seem to go for stupid amounts of money nowadays. Fortunately if I need to pound on anything, my neighbour has a nice anvil in his shop. I could probably bury a coffee cup up an inch in the accumulated dust on it. Doubt its been used in years, but still, its nice to have one and not need it than need one and not have one.

Here's my poor entry , found it partially buried in the back yard of the house we bought.

i also use a 9'' chunk of rsj, super portable and dead handy as you weld on it too.

Ha ha mine is about 12 inches bolted to a piece of scaffie board for portability never tried welding on it

A hobbing foot is a metal foot used to support a shoe while it is being repaired, a last is a wooden mould used to shape a shoe while it is being made. Inside a decent pair of shoes you used to find the number of the last used to produce them, something like last 19 stamped into the leather.

I am anviless.
My life is not complete
