if you want it, its free and in halifax, so not too far away
Yes...and to be honest I cant really fault it...good size..replaceable jaws...good bit strength..all round a good vice for the money..the only thing I can say is ..because its a 360 sometimes it can slip if you giving it a bit with leverage...
should do all ya need it to do..they do a fixed base but I don't think its the 200...Cheers. If you're absolutely sure, that would be lovely.
A lot of swivel vise bases never look like they're liable to have much grip, from the ones I've seen. Good to hear it seems a decent vice. One of those should fill my external vice want nicely.
I built a stand for mine and it keeps growing extensions.
Since this was taken it has sprouted two casters, lean it over and it can be rolled around carefully. And a small anvil and a smaller vice on the reverse oh and a set of matching Bahco files.
I will update it tomorrow. What model? big fat one. You can just see the 25 on the side.
A ball vice

That's awesome, and at that price. I've seen lots of ball mounted vices before but never one as solid looking as that, they're usually "jeweller's vices" and flimsy as paper.
Is that a 36 or a 34 on the side?Here's my dad's vice, it's a Record 36, 4&1/2" jaws and a quick release.
