well I'm off sick at the moment. Had an operation on the 3rd of December. So I've been going to work anyway off my own back unpaid (I'm bored) to practice my welding. So today I decided to go in and do a bit and thought I would show you lot our set up. And I did my first butt weld today, all I have been doing is lines in some 3" pipe

And the long term plan is to build a massive double wide and double long garage/ workshop

not a cheap job or for the faint hearted

I think storage space is key, everything not in use needs to be away from the workspace. Cant have enough shelves and drawers

If I get planning permission I'm building a double garage on the footprint it possibly extending this one.....

I hope you have better luck than me, I'm having trouble getting planning permission for a single car garage, one to replace the unsafe dilapidated one I demolished in the exact same location. I've had to file an appeal with the National Assembly to get the 1 extra meter in length so we can have wheelchair access around our vehicle.
