Im making myself a workshop this year on the side of my house ,interested to see other peoples to get an idea of how to lay it out
Build it as big as you can and don’t skimp on the height. Height is one of the most overlooked things when building a workshop.
As just about everyone on hear will tell you, a workshop will never be big enough.
Its pretty big and height wize is going as big as regulations let meHeight was my error I have to agree.
Otherwise.....size....double it and add a bit more!
Door heigh. Is the critical factor....can you get a caravan or tractor in for example. Discovery they are quite tall too.
Bridgeport mill is another that springs to mind!
