im not sure if that red dial is a pull up and turn like the others and then push down when set

That would do it, the Ebay price is a lot less!

You will need fittings to connect it to your pot. Do you have a local compressed air parts supplier? Tell him what you want to achieve and they should be able to help you out, there are quite a few ways to do the job.

There is Duncan Rogers in Glasgow http://www.duncanrogers.com/quick-f1.asp I've found them helpful in the past.

Thanks for all your help for now, i will buy this new bore from ebay, and some new fittings also and see how it goes will do a new video later this week see if i can get blasting etc , thanks again guys for all the replies Adam

there is one other thing to know with sand blasting that is drying your air before it gets to the sand as you will need to consider some sort of system to do this

I normally use a second tank at the end of line then through a separator that I leave partially open and have no bother even after half an hour . yesterday did some blasting without it in line and within minutes saw water coming out of the separator so it definitely does the job

I'm interested in this as well as I don't have anything like a dryer or water trap afaik!
What's a good cheap way of doing this?

either a 3 drops system a gas bottle collector or a radiator air cool before the drops from what ive read and seen on the forums

there is a trickle flow of cold water to cool your air

theres the angle system but that needs space to create a slight drop across the top of your ceiling with taps

trouble with running pipes across ceiling is in summer its red hot and warms the pipe up and helps the moisture along. I have my hoses on the concrete floor where its cool

the first 2 is before the compressor tank you dont need these

the other 3 are from the forums the first one is brightsparks tank before sand

the second is a simple one thats close together

One thing I would mention, you need to fit a cowl on the back of the motor. The air has to be directed along the length of the motor body to cool it properly. The motor will overheat if you're using the compressor for blasting.
