Sizing models from thingiverse

Mmmm strange.. when I try printing it only one foot seems start on the bed.

I have come across a few models like that, looking at the model from directly underneath can help to get the best position.

Dropping them down a layer or 2 below the print bed in cura will give it a flat area but you might lose some resolution on the bottom.

At a push I might use support but will be horrible to take off if its that thin. A large brim might help but the nozzle drag can rock them so they still break away.
