I've just picked some of the port west navy blue sleeves up, seems good enough, haven't welded with them yet though

I tried welding with them but they don't work-couldn't get an arc sorry-I'll get me coat.

Let us know how you get on with em BB, they look just the job for me. I have the Bizweld jacket and its nice n light and I have been pleased with it. Hope they work out for you.

just had a quick 10 mins welding a few bits of angle iron together to make longer lengths (cos some numpty cut them all too short and then asked me to fix it)

quite comfortable once you get used to them, elastic seems good quality and not too tight, i have no burn marks on my arms so they must work haha

I have an orange leather pair and they're a bit tight around my arms too. Maybe they're meant to cover up another part of the anatomy!

Being tight beyond normal human comprehension, I cut the sleeves off a old pair of cotton overalls. A couple of large rubber bands above rolled up shirt sleeves holds em up a treat.
My wife has tried wd 40 on my undies to stop me squeaking when I walk - to no avail

my arms arent that big to be honest, id say a bit above average but not large by any means...these sleeves have a bit mreo to go though i think before they are uncomfortable

I have a pair of chrome leather sleeves but I only remember to wear them when a lump of spatter has burnt through my overalls and left its mark on my arm!

these sleeves seem to do their job...just welded up 2 angle iron frames and not a single burn on my arm, i have noticed some spatter on the sleeves but it picks off easilly when cool.

its nice not being boiling hot when welding

I made some "adjustments" to these overalls this afternoon to use as sleeves.
About 10 seconds with a sharp knife.
