Small mixing cups - where?

So ive been using these -

But....

I mix up 20 - 25cc at a time. In a 600cc cup the base area is such that there's so much wastage. (this is catalysed ink, rather than car paint)

Id like to get somthing more akin to these -

...not that they say how large they are, but if that says 1 fluid oz, thats about 30ml, so a more sensible size for me.

But theyre about 4x the cost??

Anyone know where i can get something like this for cheap? I mean it does not have to be 30ml - 100 or so would be fine, but the shape of those ones look easy.


Or can i just use drinking fountain plastic cups? I mix by weight, so im not bothered by having markings or not.

I buy 30ml ones by the thousand, can give you some if you collect but postage will probably cost more than the cups themselves

If you mix by weight and the markings aren’t important look at food consumable sites. These are sauce pot type containers. Should be quite cheap. But you may have to do some trial and errror to see if the plastic is compatible with your ink

Just get as square ones as posible then get a mixing stick with numbers.

Or if equAl parts, why not use shot glass as measure and mix 50ml a time?

You can get small mixing cups on ebay. I was mixing 100cc to 150cc most of the time.
I can't remember if they are 300cc or 400cc.

Thinking out loud, couldn't you measure your doses via a 100ml syringe, then it doesnt matter what you mix it in. you could just use disposable water drinking cups or the likes.

Ive never bothered asking for the cosh sheet.

But they're two part, 20:1 ratio, then "special" thinners - special as in I should ask for the sheet and probably buy at a fraction of the cost elsewhere!

They set eventually without heat, but the datasheet specifies 130c or somthing for 10 mins, iirc. Talks about solvent entrapment if not cured at heat.

Need to be disposable? How about a few small ceramic or glass eggcups or similar?

Maybe they can't be cleaned up but thought it might be worth considering.

sounds like an epoxy.

I order by the name "rondecat" - I just found this online -

Which says it's resin and buoxyethanol or somthing .. but there's also the catalyst and who knows what's in that.

And the thinner.

If you can work it all out, I'd be interested to get your opinion!
