Small water heater for workshop sink

Can some one educate me on what I need to feed a single stainless sink with hot water. Not sure if all need a expansion vessel. It will have a cold feed only and can be above or below sink fitting. Only for washing hands and odd paintbrush etc. Just dont know what I should be looking for. Advice please? Will be fitted by sparky or plumber.

I have two taps available on the sink but can mount above to wall if beneficial, just for looks would like to use both hot and cold tap if possible.

Best thing i ever did was to have an under sink unit fitted. Wished I had done it when I moved in.

I think you’re being a bit of a girl - cold water is fine.

I fitted one of these in my workshop, (the earlier model actually) https://www.screwfix.com/p/triton-t30i-instaflow-handwash-oversink-water-heater-3kw/556hp,
Dead easy to fit, 3kw but Its actually running of a 13 amp socket without any problems.

That’s exactly what I have.

We have that for house how water too. One feeds kitchen / bathroom sink. There is another small one in en suite and I’ve a third in the workshop.

Put in as a ‘temp’ solution but they cost so little and work well so they’re staying.

No, don't need an expansion vessel.

I fitted a 20 litre one last month, at work, as the 100 litre one had died.

Dead easy.

Both I think!

I fitted one to mine as that’s what the instructions said. It’s all to do with the amount of pipe between the unit and the tap I believe. They are in the same isle in B&Q and not masses
Of money.

You just need a pressure valve leak off like any hot water tank.

well you cant get a shower under 7 kw unless its a real oldy

I’ve got a couple of those under counter heaters from when they renovated some of the workshops in my industrial estate. Tried selling them in the classified section awhile back, but the classified Gestapo classify them as non workshop/tool items and don’t approve the advert.
Pity,as I correctly thought people on here would love to get one for a reasonable price.Hey ho……

there not a workshop tool but they are a handy workshop item

you can still sell them if they are posted just like you have done now

and yeah its a way around it
