Snap-On Pro 160. Euro torch upgrade possible?

Sorry not to comment earlier, I didn't notice you had asked the question. Yes, it was those bits I used from WW. Fitting was easy. I don't quite understand the negative comments about conversion kits. Apart from the local Kemppi agent only trying to sell me a new welder, my only choice was to try the kit. But it might be more difficult on other welders. My welder is built like the proverbial outhouse......

No worries. From having fitted mine, I can see that it wasn't really designed to fit the way my welder is designed, and you could end up with it all badly aligned if you're not careful, but I managed to do all that before I tightened it up, and just had to trim the wire guide tube down a few mm and chamfer it off.

So if someone wasn't careful enough, or had to chop down the threaded rod and messed it up, it could end up as money wasted.

Which euro convertion kit did you get

Hi, I just noticed that you had done the convertion on the snap on pro 160.

Which kit did you use and could you post the link to that?

I was also wondering which snap on model you have incase its a different model, I have an older square one, according to another member posting on this thread its also the cebora autostar 160.

Any links or photo's helpful thanks
