Spider webs installed

Hi guys.
At last I have got my spider webs installed, check out my thread ''distortion diasastrophe'' to see some of the problems during the build process. A minor headache.

Went to install them last week, and aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrgghhhh.
Two of them had shrunk and would not fit, I had left the fittings behind anyway!!! and some fool had installed the wrong pipe for another. Not a good day.

Anyway, I was back their yesterday and finished the installation.







Job Done what a relief.

Oh and thanks for the advice regards thunderbolts (gurt big self tapping screws that go into concrete), fantastic things, I had not expected them to go in so easily, I put 60 of them in with my 14v Dewalt cordless drill

What's it for / where's it for Chunko?

They are part of a garden at a soon to be opening attraction in St Albans. It is a huge Eden Project style park themed about butterflys, and they are to allow people to view the gardens and see the last stage of the project being assembled without getting mashed by one of the many many diggers. The builders are complaining about them as it has closed off a short cut across the site.
I had a terrible time making them, distortion, brain ache and the whole caboodle. Somebody recently told me they must have been 'fun' to make. Oh Yeah.

In the second pic you can see the extension lead, well some fool had it running under the web when he did up the bolts, then had to undo two of the bolts and bend the thing to get the lead out.

What's the next mad job?

Yes they are staying after the constructonalisation, the two of them shown are in the middle of the tubes and willbe the backs for benches, the other two are facing the constructionalisation site and will be view points for the 100m dome structure being assemblised.

Can you not get a dummy (or a Constructionalisation worker) and stick them in the biggest web.

Might cause a few heart attacks too I suppose, but it would be entertaining to watch reactions.
