Favourite trick of brickies, chippies, dry-liners, scaffolders and window fitters - trapping some unsupecting victim's lead by building around it. The number of times I've had to cut my plug off to retrieve my lead I've lost count. Only ones I won't cut ar the 415V armours - if they get trapped then the fixture get it

Was that spider built by a French team? it has that Gallicly mad look about it.
I confess it was I who so cleverly routed the extension lead under the thing, luckily nobody spotted me extricating it, I imagine builders would take no prisoners in a situation like that. Mind it would appeal to my pathetic sense of humour to do it to somebody else.
