spray gun please help

might not be old to you.but could well be old stock or wrongly stored.and it has been down to freezing the last few months.
i just went back to the website,it tells you nothing,just gun set up nothing about pressures.
the thinning 30% is of what you are using, not overall can.mix as you go.stir well,then filter,if it's still globby you have bad paint or wrong thinners.
what thinners are you using???

sorry for getting back so late. i got the prob sorted and upped the pressure to 80psi and it comes out no bother now. i am still using vinylast gloss paint but the problem i am having now is when im spraying with it, some of parts tend to be a matt rough finish. if i was spraying a bit of tubing 8 inch diameter and doing it 180 degrees side at a time i have noticed that what ever side i painted last has a nice smooth glossy finish but then when look at the other side where my last flash has met the other side gets bit dull and rough. can anyone tell me why this is?

Sounds like it is over spray falling over what you have already done, making it matt. Try to get a wet coat quickly in one go around the tube.

it's hard to say,got a pic of what you are trying to spray??
had a simular problem, the only way got it to work was 2 men spraying.
one each side and mirrored each other. worked but was clean spray off myself a week later.

cnt really get a pic at the min but it seems to be what ever side i do last has the best smooth finish
