Step by step anvil stand

Ok onto that floating top plate. The idea of this is it becomes adjustable by adding or removing sand!
The plate sized. Cut and marked for the anvil in question

The bars retain the anvil and are 16mm square
Simply stich welded after being bent cold in the forks

Here we are! You see how the anvil sits down inside adding to safety and jamming it in place if your using the Hardy bending forks or working at the far end of the horn

Tidy. If I'm using magnets (and I remember to) I put them in sarnie bags. When they get covered in filings, just turn the bag inside out as you peel it off the magnet and drop the bag in the bin.

Got to say I don't use them a lot but for some things like job showm they beat a human assistant

i wrap mine in cling film to acheive the same effect
