Looks like you have done a good job on that. I wouldn't worry if you can see a few marks as long as you can't feel them it should be good. I generally use oven cleaner (think it's oven bright), easy to get hold of and does a decent job, though other chemicals might be faster.OK so it was steeping overnight in the other cement residue cleaning acid. I then used WD40 and 240, 320 & 400 grit followed by scotchbrite pad to remove as much as I dare without going through the cylinder coating. This is how it looks now:

There is only a couple of very small marks left which are completely smooth to feel. I don't want to sand much more incase the cylinder is damaged.
So im going to order up a new Meteor piston kit and send back the cylinder kit then. Which means I'm salvaging the original Stihl cylinder which no doubt is better quality than any aftermarket option.

Once you have rebuilt it make sure you do a vacuum and pressure test, don't want it to seize again after all that effort.
The 201t carb fits in at a jaunty angle not square on. Try looking for part number ZAMA TYPE S274B 1145/16C. In Dony boy's video about the linkage you can see what I mean. I don't envy you the job.
It's quite likely your saw is a bitsa made up from a mix of ms200 and ms201 parts, hence the 2017 engine number with a 2012 handle. There is a lot of crossover from the 020 upto the 201. You may need to change the small cover with the 3 carb adjustment screws to match whichever carb fits the intake.
hasit got a fuel bulb on it ?
