My dad used to design and build vacuum packers from the 50's until mid 80's. Plenty of examples of normally wrapped/bagged items containing air being nicely corroded from customers wanting something better - doesn't take much moisture in the air to condense out - its then nicely trapped against whatever is wrapped up.For condensation you need air movement, or at least the presence of moisture-laden air. If an object is wrapped in plastic film where is the condensation coming from?
I wouldn't do it.
