Tangent but we did a Landy event with a road run and one group turned up to the campsite late. One of the lads had had to take evasive to avoid an oncoming Dutchman on the wrong side of the road, gone into the verge and down a “pothole”, it seemed to handle a bit funny could I take a look for him?
Handled funny alright, it had bent the passenger side radius arm bracket back 4.5” so the front axle was on a diagonal. Turns out the “pothole” was a drainage ditch with a concrete culvert sticking out the side!

So that's my job
I pass most of my days in the machine shop, straightening car rims.
Mostly alloy wheel , but sometimes happens to straighten even those steel ones .
Both need a good amount of heat from an oxyfuel torch ....
Then I use an hydraulic jack with interchangeable ends to best adapt to the rim shape and then hydraulic power .
Sometimes too much and you need to use a big hammer to back on .
You need to see it spinning to be sure it's straight .
It can look straight but most times it's not .
At every low spot correspond two High spots , unfortunately for you ,it will be not just one , maybe just a bigger one but there Will be more little ones.
You need to remove the tire
Yep, I would have said a bottle jack wedged in somehow.
The Ford steel wheels I use on my trials car come back pretty well with a lump hammer and a suitable drift - probably rather thinner metal though.
Failing that - any local wheel repair guys? If you just want it roundish again rather then pristine and painted, it might not be too expensive.
