Youngest nephew bought himself a glue gun, think he wanted to make a space ship or something, I got him to make an oil
filter n housing for me to copy. Cardboard around filter is to make sure I leave clearance to get a spanner at it.

I'm not really too sure on it's age. Not too sure if it they were wrought iron or not, they seemed to weld ok.
The windows that the latches went onto could well have been 200-300 years old,maybe more.

Yeah, it's getting side plates to make it into a wall bracket. Nearly got it done when the shed was suddenly full of giant bumblebee. I decided to retire early. I bet it's still there tomorrow.

Yours is a posh version of my clamp rack. Mine only took me a few minutes to make (and it really shows!), but it was one of those things you quickly throw together for a specific purpose, that ends up being there for years!

Now I've seen your one, I'm a bit ashamed of my scruffy efforts, so I might have to make a nice one like yours!

If I remember I'll post up a pic to show you all how not to do it!

Me too, a bee will make me stop what I'm doing and keep an eye on it, don't want it surprising me while I'm grinding for example, but a wasp tends to get a tickle with my Thor size A.

Well it's done and the clamps are tidied.

There is a centre rail as well as top/bottom, I didn't want it to sag. I framed it out because it will take up as much room as it does so I might tack on some additional storage for sash clamp ends, spring clamps etc.

It's in a temporary spot (in The secret Shed™) because I need to turf a ton of junk out of the way in the main shed first and, well, otherwise it's in the way. Bracket seems strong enough (those clamps are HEAVY!) but I am less worried about the bracket than I am about ripping the door off a very lightweight "field shelter" type build.

Just made this boot scraper using the shoes from Hotponyshoes, thanks very much, good to meet you. Mk2 improved version half made on the bench now, going to be fitted with brushes for the sides.

Yes it will (10mm plate), and with very little effort.

Overall for a few hours in the shed and for no cost pretty happy with how it turned out.

Just similar to all I think diy ones. Mainly just making do with what I had lying around. Hence angle as guides not tubes, didn't have a suitable ID tube for my rod and couldn't be bothered with turning stuff down on the lathe.

Made up / erected a panel of steel fencing today to keep the hooligans and drug dealers on motorbikes out of a woodland, they keep knocking down or cutting the wooden fencing. Used 100x100x5mm fence posts with 6mm caps and 100x50x5mm rails and welded it in position, if the landowner likes it they will have more of it.
