I've been making a Vedette boat engine into a half-decent daily driver in a Morris Minor. Glad the engine had been 'dipped' before the rebore. Boat engines seem to rust from the inside-out. This engine out to be a bit nippier than before. That carb elbow is a new casting from a guy in Luton that leaves the carb lower to clear the bonnet on a Sprite/Midget. Not bad!
Please feel free to post your regimental number, it makes me feel younger
The number on the badge was my wife's father's, the plate is for my brother in laws pickup.
Are these for competition use or is it just "cool" factor. Lovely work must cost a few £££ for your skillsToday I reminded myself why I don't make stuff in titanium as a rule. It knocks hell out of the machines, the swarf is razor sharp, it lights up once in a while and scares you silly, it breaks inserts and destroys drills. Finishes well though.

I am making everything in titanium or carbon fibre or ally. So far I have taken 185 grams out of it. It is a semi auto pistol.
Lidl soapNothing as flash as @northwest above but today I made for the van a Covid 19 decontamination station.

Waiting for the cordless drill chargeI'm trying to make a knife .
It will never be a good knife since I'm making it using mild steel, and will never be pretty because I'm working with angle grinder , cordless drill and welder only .
But it will probably be enough good to see .
The Idea is make a souvenir from covid time.
In the future might be priceless tell to a son or daughter "I made this thing while we were in lockdown" later I'll probably upload some pictures
But it is not pretty as the ones you usually see around
a whole jar just to use a few tablespoons).
