Today I nearly finished my garden hose reel.
These things always take longer than I think.
It's the little details that take the time, the handle, the bushes, the water inlet and outlet etc.
I found a few inches of stainless pipe, but not enough for the whole axle so I joined it to steel pipe with dissimilar rods so the water is only going through the stainless pipe.
I lined and welded it in the lathe to get it reasonably straight.
Also sealed all the ends to stop it rotting from the inside.
Just need to paint it now (and finish prepping it)
I'm very pleased with my surface perperation tool.
