It’s how they do the maize mazes I think. I know they shut one row off every now and then for ground nesting birds. That was in Suffolk on an estate and they’re incentivised to do it.

Could do with a price for a 305mm disc in 15mm actually. Also I pmd you on insta a while ago about another grinder rack.

We yeild map with the combine and forager, they don't directly link to the seed drill and sprayers but we use the data to alter inputs depending on what we see on the maps.
That map doesn't show it too well but you can see a slight increase in the bottom half, that's due too the top half being slightly drier soil and it suffered in the dry spring.

Unfortunately no. The hole taper is still terrible (pat is going to bore these out so no bother)
15mm only looks good because travel speed is at a snails pace (bear in mind they slowed the machine down)
6mm, 8mm absolutely crap.
3mm with new fine cut consumables, okay. Not the best but workable.
What are they doing about it. Well they sent me one sample piece their machine had cut, it had as much bevel as my machine. Our machine used to do 10x better cuts than what they sent. They think there is nothing wrong.

Made a bobbin for the sky lift. If you want to swap from all bike lift to front only you need to remove the supplied bobbin from the lifting frame and put it in the base frame. You can get extra ones for about £7 or so plus post but as I had a few minutes free today I quickly drew one up and turned it on the CNC from some F51 Duplex. Threaded part is M20.

Sorry to hear that. I have been cutting 10mm 316 s/s with the new nitrogen generator and have been experimenting with settings and holes, the taper inside the holes with nitrogen is much greater than with compressed air at the moment, but hoping that i can improve it.
It would seem from your answer that they are not going to look at it any further. I had been given advice my the local Hypertherm importers about cutting speed and tip / currents settings which differed from what I got from Jim Colt. All I can say some is better some is not, and it can very from one cut to the next. This makes it hard to get some consistency, but we keep trying to improve.

I thought it was the lip alignment gauge for your D bit grinder at first, hard to get an idea of scale.

It looks pretty darn good to me, all things considering! You should see the taper on the 20mm parts off an old Messer table i got the other week, look at the skeleton edges in the first pic:
All I can say is that I'm glad it didn't cost me anything... the coolant pump died on the last two pieces so the nozzle fried itself, but even so, the "good" pieces that actually cut clean, the taper on them was almost unusable.
Everything that came out of this plate is scrap.
In the end, the guy got a laser cutting company to redo the parts for me.
