Suitable Torch?

Quick update. torch's arrived (yes I got me the 2 types lol) so after a bit of a drama I managed to get the new ck torch to work
Disconnecting terminal 1 - 2 was the problem in the 5 pin plug, as nothing would happen when bridged !!

Now have a lightweight torch and lead that works a treat.. sooo much easier to use
About half the size of that brick I started with !
Am very pleased and would deffo recommend one

The Bridge should of been accross pins 4 & 5, not pins 1 & 2.

Pins 1 & 2 are the trigger on/off

No worries was just the way I read it ...

i.e, you need to do pins 1 + 2 for the trigger and put a bridge across pins 4 + 5. Then you won't get the E5 code
To me that says bridge the two pairs! Still not to worry as it's sorted now

Thats good, glad its sorted,

The bridge on 4 & 5 is just so the machine knows its using a gas cooled torch. E 5 is a water-cooling error.

Tight buggers at CK, they don't even put a sheath on the torch.
