Out of interest does anyone ever use the scale on an adjustable? I never figure out what it was for. Maybe for giving an idea of the right size spanner once youve tightended it up on the fastener but I’ve always just slipped it in and nipped it up tight in location.

No idea. I've never had an adjustable with a scale on. Can't really think why I would need it.

Handy for adjusting somewhere near the size that you know. Other than that, not much use, but I kinda like having it since it's there on all newer Bahcos.

il 1st bahco have about 4 different sizes all bought second hand in mint condition for under a tenner each a couple of gedore and a brittool as well

Bahco 8075 is 18”. You won’t get better.
