I've got a tub of Rocol - but have 4 or 5 places I need to use it - and it's ALWAYS in the wrong place.
As I appear to be trying different things when I have some spare time (Early 2026 at this rate!!) I might just decant a little and mix some turps with it as you suggested.

its nice putting it in to a washing up liquid bottle as you can just dab a bit on the hole or threads. rocol do sell it in a squeezy bottle but its the red chlorine free stuff , in other words its crap like eveything else thats got to be none toxic

Anchor if its not smelly, how can it be any good?

If you say its made of soap, has anyone tried plain cheap soap? Its half fats anyway, made from tallow etc..

Staining might be caused by the salt component of soaps.

I bought the Moly Tap Plus last year but still have not tried it

How come chlorine is so toxic when it is in useful stuff like Rocol and yet benevolent or even beneficial when put in our drinking water?

big difference between parts per million, and a significant % of chlorine, also depends on what the chemical molecule is, free chlorine is very different to chlorine dioxide.

Just think, you have chlorine every day in the from of salt

Our bodies contain quite a lot of chlorine, mostly associated with sodium and potassium, but also as hydrochloric acid. There's around 105grams of chlorine, in a person weighing 70kg!!
