but I found that as your welding improves (and it will) and you get more and more confident, the project will start coming together. Just take your time and you will find things will just happen, and before you know it, you will be done!

(now that I have exhausted all of the summer driving opportunities
) I shall be returning to the matter of the remaining areas that require some more fabrication and welding.

Thanks for the bump Katbloke.
Merry Christmas to you too! (and everyone else by the way)
Hopefully you will be glad to know,(now that I have exhausted all of the summer driving opportunities
) I shall be returning to the matter of the remaining areas that require some more fabrication and welding.
So I will be back soon.![]()
a very big thank you.
you are the masterWell got to the point where I was ready to throw in the towel with this piece, drove me mad today but managed to get somewhere close to what I think will suffice.
Still a little fettling and drilling to do but should be welded in tomorrow,
fingers crossed. By the way Chickenjohn, took your advice with regards to using a jack to hold the plug welding together and my initial set ups looked promising.
May manage to get them welded tomorrow also.

I apologise for my lack of activity, I have just been so busy getting her through the dreaded MOT I lost track of time.Mind you, she did pass in the end and has made all the effort worth while.

So for you folk that are just starting a project, believe me, when it is done it feels great.
That said, once the summer fades I have a long list of areas that need more fabrication and mig welding so will be back real soon. I have took the liberty of adding a few photos of her to date.
I hope you like them.
