but a chainsaw does have something the bench grinder doest....

Thank you.. The gas bottle rests on a 4x4 steel box section.. It's ok really to put my size bottle in.. I don't weld very often so It's a lot better for me, with it going where my bench does without dragging and tangling lines and cables all the time.. All the appliances go into one splitter electric box wired in by my sparky.. With the buffing wheel which I use a great deal, it's nice to be able to go outdoors with it as it creates a lot of waxy debris.. Therefore it's a bit messy.. Especially in an OCD workshop..

The bench is very cool. Where is the little buddy tig gonna sit. Or has that been chucked out now.

I like the idea of the cylinder and the main thing is it looks nice and secure. Is it a bit of a job to get out on refill day?

i guess in that respect. the welder and bottle is wherever the bench is.

Thanks... I do try! Yeah it works a treat for me... As my bottle is the smaller size it's no issue putting a replacement in or out... I've only a small workshop so space is a premium.. It just makes life easy for me by keeping tangle free cables and lines.. The wheels lock and it's all level.. I like a problem to solve and although I make mistakes I'm always keen to learn along the way.. Hey that's life is it not...

I've not forgotten your kind offer by the way.. My tigs still alive but has just gone In for a once over.. It sits nicely on the lower shelf there's earth points aplenty below while the tig torch feeds through the upper table at the rear keeping all the bench clutter free.. The torch when not in use hangs on the SS bar.. So all in all it makes the most of the little space I have and can be moved outside etc as needs be...

I feel at times like sticking my middle digit up in the air but, it's not worth it.. Anyway I can't, due to an accident with my bench grinder....

I personally really really like the top of gas bottle in the bench. It's not something I've ever seen before yet I'm pretty sure it is something I'm going see again when people see it.

Hi mTe not happy with my progress/my tigs progress.. Hence elmdale have taken it in to be looked at... Heaven only knows? The other week I had been working with it and completely switched it off with the plug removed.. The torch moved near a metal piece on my next bench there was a flash and the trip had gone off in workshop... Engineer came and tried it out... It did it again, hence it's gone back...

Been working ave 72 hr weeks at mo so just had no time, but will visit ASAP..

I measured up the cylinder and put a box section in below it to support the weight...

Yes ... Twice it's happend now.. I think the first time(not a 100 percent sure) the torch slid along the bench where I was working and sparked across some steel.. When elmdale visited it did it again but this time it fired across at my bench grinder which was pluged in and switched on.. But on both occasions the welder was completely unplugged and switched off... Hence it's gone for investigation under warranty..

Yes they do the large ones as well mines. £17 a refill with no min useage etc plus they del and collect...
