garden spider.??
That was the plan. It was nowhere near the size of the one she passed me though.Weren't you supposed to pass one to her?
If you place a conker in two opposite corners of a room you will not see any spider in that room. Don't ask me how, but it works.Honestly I am absolutely petrified of spiders.
I know a total pussy...but cant help it.
The butler sink I fitted in the garden a couple of months ago catches those all the time, not sure why but it's always that species and about that size that gets stuck, maybe the smaller ones can out.
I just move them to the other end of the garden, I'll only kill wasps and flies.
Photos are from a video I took, I think it is a Tube Web Spider and they do bite apparently.
That's on old wives tail. The thinking was, that mice like conkers, and they also eat spiders. So basically, you are just trying to encourage mice into the house. If you place a conker in two opposite corners of a room you will not see any spider in that room. Don't ask me how, but it works.

What’s wrong with you, fascinating creatures, spiders. They do more good for people than they realise, but yet people are generally so eager squash them.
Very nice example you had there in the bath, hopefully it enjoys it’s new home in the car port.
The very first time I found myself in a new girlfriends bedroom (actually, now Mrs Climber) she said I bet you haven't seen one of these before. Full of intrigue and the enthusiasm of a young man on a promise, I was rather disappointed when she passed me a bloody snake.
No great logic to it, I just don't like them.
