They all get called moleies and I don't even know if I have a genuine set. They are the single most stolen item in my box and see them lifted by the borrowers before they break - if intact they ever do need to keep some more than a couple of years to find out.

Not sure of the make of mine, but I know they can nip the fingers of the unwary.
Always known them as mole grips.
Have a nasty habit of removing the fold of skin betwix thumb and index finger, at the very least giving one of the painfulist

i just brought another set of 3 from Lidl they will be just fine for abusing keep the decent ones for best
thats often why the cheap ones get criticised ,as they get more abuse than the decent ones.

ha ha probably yes, but in deffence I have not used them yet and the jaws do not meet together squarly without being manipulated where as my Iwin vice grips do, they are nearly 10 times the price though!

Always called them ViseGrips.
Must have about 12 pairs in various forms, including the chain wrench as above.
I did have a set of cheapo £5/3pairs type back when i didnt know better, but didnt last long at all.
Could do with a set of long reach ones once in a blue moon, but never justified buying them.

I only found out today after taking the pics that some lowlife has borrowed and not returned my other set which have round jaws for holding round stock..cant remember who and its doing my nut in
That's why I never lend anything out, years ago I couldn't remember who I lent a tool to, hadn't missed it until I needed it. lesson learnt.

one i would like is the chain wheel vise grips that are used to cut pipe with theyre really usefull when cutting up exhaust parts

New poster here. Aquire this combination from a late neighbors garage.
I think they may be Mole Grip brand, no name but have a rectangular impression stating Newport, Monmouthshire, Great Britain, with an impressed Union Jack in the top left hand corner of the box. Never seen the bench attachment for sale.

If they are stamped made in Newport then they would be the original Mole grips made by M K Mole & Son
