How many hours?
I shudder to think. It took me three days to upholster the top. The problem was that it was such a horrible job I could only stand an hour at a time of it. So lots of coffee drinking and lpaying with my boy's air rifle. Unfortunately I did not have a side project to keep me amused, like I did with the main section.
I reckon alll up three days to build the underlying structure and maybe 8 days on the covering. But what pain it was. I did undercharge but not by too much. Typically with a job like this it starts of as a vague idea and by the end has become a series of procedures. I reckon I could knock probably do it 50% quicker. Would I????? depends on the paycheque.
Next up? I have been called to London on Monday to discuss oversized musicians for a top notch college, TBA (hopefully) so a two day city break with Mrs C' staying in a 'grace and favour apartment' is it a cupboard in student halls or a swanky pad and a meeting with The Big Cheese.
